This looks to be a handmade piece and not entirely finished. Likely intended to be a pillow cover. The bottom is not stitched closed. Obvious signs of wear with staining to both sides. The back has some fraying / wear through of the material. This has been soaked, but there is a bit of a storage smell still. Fabric is dingy looking a bit and it could likely use more laundering.
