This is a smart vintage 1980s Executive Games Compendium. Housed in a classic briefcase-style attaché case with a secure zip-around closure, this set offers three classic games in one portable package. Features & Materials: • Integrated Backgammon Board: The interior of the case features a classic felt and leatherette Backgammon layout built directly into the base. • Removable Chess/Draughts Board: Includes a separate playing board with a wood-effect finish and a protective felt backing, designed to sit neatly inside the case. • Wooden Chess Pieces: A standout feature of this set is the full collection of turned wooden Staunton-style chess pieces. • Original Protective Foam: The chess pieces are neatly stored in their original charcoal foam insert to prevent rattling or damage while traveling. • Brown & Cream Counters: Includes a full set of substantial counters for Backgammon and Draughts that have a satisfying vintage "clink" during play. Dimensions: • Case Size: Approximately 14.75” x 10” x 2” Condition Report: This set is in good vintage condition for its age, with honest signs of use: • Completeness: The set is 100% playable. One cream-coloured counter was previously missing and has been replaced with a slightly smaller matching counter (mentioned for total transparency—please see photos). • Playing Surfaces: Both the integrated backgammon board and the separate felt-backed chess board are clean. Please note there is a light, small mark on one side of the backgammon felt (visible in photos). • Hardware & Case: The gold-toned hardware shows some light surface wear. There is a small area near the zipper where the stitching has come away (pictured), but the zip remains fully functional.
