The 2 big batteries will hold a charge and both work in the camera. The small original battery will not hold a charge. The Camera will turn on and play the cassettes. Unfortunately, it will play back in black and white, and it is very dark. You can make out people and dogs at a family gathering. The zoom in and out works. All the stop, play, rewind, and fast forward work. The AC power adapter works. The charger works. It does record and play back. The Green battery works the best. I have no idea if any of the other buttons work.
