Original WWII U.S. Army wool flannel service shirt, dated 1943. NOT a reproduction and NOT post-war. Features original Technician 3rd Grade (Tec 3) chevrons on both sleeves and original WWII shoulder sleeve insignia with red border, stars, and lightning bolt. Two-button chest pockets, original WWII buttons, straight-hem service shirt construction (not an Ike jacket).
Original sewn Quartermaster tag reads: Flannel, O.D., Style Special; Size 14½ x 32; Pattern dated 4/21/1943; Contract: Thomson Company; P.O. No. 11684; Dated January 24, 1943; Spec P.Q.D. No. 473; Philadelphia Quartermaster Depot; inspector stamp present. Tagging confirms WWII production and issue.
Condition shows honest period wear with light surface wear and minor spots. No modern alterations. Insignia appear period-applied. No restoration. Sold as-is due to age.
