Antique Japanese Satsuma earthenware vase, hand painted and decorated in raised moriage enamel, dating to the Meiji period (circa 1890–1920).
This vase features a detailed figural scene with two robed figures in a landscape, surrounded by floral cartouches and traditional geometric motifs. The decoration includes raised enamel work typical of late 19th to early 20th century Japanese export Satsuma.
The interior shows small firing or kiln marks common to period Satsuma ware. No maker's mark present.
