exceptionally well-preserved 19th-century French chromolithograph. This charming circular miniature depicts a romantic pastoral scene of a lady in a pink dress carving into a tree, watched by her faithful dog.
Unlike many antique prints that show significant age flaws, this piece has been meticulously cared for and remains in true collector-ready condition. It is a superior alternative to the only other comparable example on the market, which has a damaged frame.
The chromolithograph is in remarkable, mint condition. There is NO foxing (brown age spots), NO fading, NO creases, tears, or stains. The soft, wash-like colors are vibrant and intact.
·The print is housed in its original 3.5-inch circular gilt wood frame. The frame is whole with no breaks, repairs, or glue stainsonly authentic, minor age-consistent wear to the gilding. The glass is original and clear.
