Based on the 42TALON zipper, it's likely from around the 1970s (similar to Levi's 501 BIG E to early and late 66 models).
The vertical fading is beautiful, and while there are some stains and small holes, it's in good condition for vintage denim.
It has selvedge on one side, but the edge is locked and closed, which is a rare specification.

The often-cracked patch is cracked, but most of it remains. (It will be taped to prevent it from disappearing and shipped.)

In recent years, reproductions of PENNEY'S PAYDAY, BIG MAC, FOREMOST, and other store brands like SEARS (HERCULES) and MONTGOMERY WARD (WARDS Powr House) have been increasing, and the originals are rapidly becoming scarce, with prices soaring.
