Large hand-built studio pottery vase featuring carved abstract symbols and a textured matte exterior with soft earth-tone washes. The piece has an irregular sculpted rim and a fully glazed interior in deep blue. Signed CE on the base and also stamped with the artist’s circular mark. Artist “Chris Evans" is noted on a related piece but not further identified.
A substantial, one-of-a-kind ceramic art object suitable for display on its own or as a sculptural vessel. Solid and weighty at 4 lbs 12.9 oz.
