I fell in love with the stunning Shantou embroidery and purchased this kimono as a lined kimono, understanding that there was a noticeable stain on the sleeves. However, the stain could not be removed even with washing and stretching, so I gave up on remaking it into a kimono.
I will sell it to someone who can utilize it for remaking, etc. I will also include the washed and stretched lining fabric, so those who don't mind the stain can hopefully have it made into a kimono.
It may seem expensive for a stained fabric, but even adding the purchase price and the washing/stretching cost, it's still a loss for me.
