Levi’s 501 STF Shrink To Fit Raw Denim

The original 501! Unsanforized denim, shipped over from America, where they are easy to find. Outside of really expensive pairs, unsanforised Levi’s denim is really hard to find in the UK. Levi’s recommend to size up in the waist by 1”, and 2-3” in length. My usual size is 30W 34L, so this made sense. Unfortunately they didn’t quite shrink to what I expected, bought another pair of 30w 36l and they now fit perfectly, so these are up for sale. They’ve been hot bath soaked once to shrink, and hot washed in the washing machine (as recommended). Never worn except for trying on and finding still wrong size. Actual measurements are 30.5” waist, and 33” inseam. As I’ve learnt with the other pair, they shrink more in length in the wash, but if you pull the legs lightly when they’re wet, that length comes out again, these will stretch to around 34.5 when wet, or leave at the 33, or shrink more. Waist will also stretch to you, so if they fit a little tight when you first try them on, they’re perfect - wear them in. You’ll notice the slight blue tint to the labels - this is due to the indigo dye running during washing, as is the case with raw denim. These were $95 not including shipping so, grab a hard to find bargain!
