This is a rare and unusual ring. The key to dating and authenticating Monet jewellery is the maker's mark. My ring is marked "MONET" stamped on the inside of the ring band. The use of the "MONET" mark without a copyright symbol (© )confirms that this ring was made sometime between 1937 and 1955. After 1955, Monet began adding the copyright symbol to their pieces. The ring's design, with multiple dangling charms and stones, is consistent with styles from the mid-20th century.
