This is an original lithograph, printed in colors, by Henri Toulouse-Lautrec. The title means clowness and horse. This is lithograph was published in 1952 on the presses of Merlot Freres in Paris. The lithographic stone was executed by Toulouse-Lautrec in his lifetime and has his monogram on the piece as he put it on the stone. Toulouse-Lautrec was born in 1864 and died in 1901 after battling a rare, severe disease related to osteoporosis and is now called Toulouse-Lautrec Syndrome. He was a mainstay in the Paris Nightlife and the Moulin Rouge in Paris. This Print is from his circus series and is printed in colors on wove paper.
