Authentic vintage 1959–60 Hawaii Marines Judo Team varsity jacket, made in the USA by Gamemaster Sportswear (Marshall Clothing Mfg. Co., Butler, Indiana). This is an original late-1950s / early-1960s wool letterman jacket featuring a period-correct embroidered team patch, classic red wool body, striped knit ribbing, and original Gamemaster branded snap buttons.
This jacket represents a rare crossover of U.S. military history, martial arts (judo), and traditional American varsity sportswear. Construction, materials, patch style, and hardware are all consistent with authentic mid-century varsity jackets.
Condition is excellent for its age with no holes or structural damage observed. Ribbing remains strong with light, honest wear. All snaps are present and functional. Tag does not list a size, which is common for jackets of this era—please refer to measurements for accurate fit.
