NIB (National Industries for the Blind) provides products and services through its AbilityOne employment program, which supports the employment of people with visual impairments. Many individuals with disabilities manufacture and sell various products to a consistent standard of quality. SKILCRAFT was created by branding some of these products.

The slightly smaller pen body is the perfect size for pen pockets on military uniforms.
