Beautiful vintage Cristal de Sevres clear and frosted crystal ashtray featuring a detailed long-haired cat face in the center. The cat's head is done in soft, satiny frosted crystal that pops against the thick, clear crystal walls, giving the piece great depth and sparkle. The square form with rounded corners has a substantial weight and works well as an ashtray, catchall, or small trinket dish.
Signed Sevres France on the inner wall above the cat's ears.
Approximate measurements: 6 1/4 " x 6 1/4 " and 2" tall.
Condition: Very good vintage condition with no chips or cracks. There are some surface scratches on the bottom/base from normal use, which have been photographed and are mostly visible only when tilted in the light.
