A wooden pen with a premium, figured Japanese horse chestnut wood shaft.
Finished with lacquer coating, it has a wet-look gloss that cannot be achieved with oil or wax finishes. The wood grain also appears three-dimensional.
Hardware is available for both ballpoint pens and mechanical pencils. It can also be sold without hardware. In this case, the price will be reduced by 3,000 yen.

■ This pen is finished with the same coating as musical instruments. Therefore, the handling is the same as a lacquer-finished guitar, but we will provide this information as many people may not be aware.

・Dents
Lacquer is easily scratched and will dent if dropped or if it comes into contact with a hard object. The clip area is likely to dent even with careful handling. Please understand that this is the nature of the product.

・Chemical Reactions
Lacquer can react with rubber products and chemical products such as thinners, potentially leaving marks on the contact surface. There is a risk of reaction with rubber if stored in a pen case with other writing instruments.

・Cracks
Cracks may appear on the painted surface due to sudden temperature changes. Also, cracks may naturally occur after a decade or more of use, but we hope you will enjoy this as part of the character of the lacquer finish. Vintage guitars have these kinds of cracks, and new guitars that reproduce this look are also sold.

・Care
We recommend polishing with a musical instrument cloth that does not contain silicone and a lacquer-compatible polish.
