Charming original Goebel M.I. Hummel figurine titled “Frühlingsidyll / Signs of Spring.” This piece features a little girl at a wooden fence, gently greeting a songbird perched on the post. Included is the original hanging brass medallion stamped “FINAL ISSUE / LETZTE AUSGABE / 1990,” marking this as the final-issue release of this classic design.
The base is factory-marked “Frühlingsidyll / Signs of Spring” on the side and stamped on the underside Goebel W. Germany with the impressed mold/date marks (1948 design, final issue 1990). Colors are soft and clean—pastel blue dress, orange kerchief and skirt, and warm brown fence and tree trunk—showing off the classic Hummel style.
Condition:
• Overall very good vintage condition.
• No obvious chips or cracks seen in the photos.
• Light age-related wear and some discoloration/age toning to the paper title label on the base and normal shelf wear to the underside rim.
• Brass “Final Issue 1990” tag still attached.
