Reproduction of the WWII US Wool Overcoat, Twill Lining, Buttoned Vent, 40 Long
Pre-owned and in excellent condition with the exception of a cut at the hem of the right front corner. The coat closes either left over right (typically mens cut) or right over left (typically womens cut.) With the traditional mens closing of the coat, the cut is not visible. It's about an inch long and at the very edge of the corner. The exterior visual is first picture, the second is the interior. Please see pictures for specifics on condition.
Actual measurements: 44" chest, 40" at waist, 19" across the shoulders in back, 18.5" sleeve length, 50.5" center back length, the vent is 25.5" from the hem.
Reproduction of the WWII US wool overcoat which were the standard issue cold weather garment for all troops throughout most of the War until finally supplanted by the M1943 Field Jackets. The reproduction is very good, color is excellent (green/brown) and the lining is the proper cotton twill.
