This is a spectacular Soup Tureen, Platter, & Ladle by Jonas Roberts from Japan in the 1940's. The small gold tag is almost completely intact. Its bright With red and light pink flowers, greenery & blue design is one you will want to use over and over again and just leave out for decor when not in use. Its design is beautiful with scalloped edges on the platter, ornate handles on the bowl, and an interesting almost fluted curvy lid on its top. Its height is about 10" & its base bowl is about 10" X 9.25". I see no cracks/ Chips. This was my grandma's and then passed down to my father and then myself so I'm hoping to give it a new home where someone can appreciate it. This is a porcelain glaze.
