Yūki Tsumugi is a silk fabric mainly produced in the Kinugawa River basin of Ibaraki and Tochigi prefectures, centered around Yūki City, Ibaraki Prefecture.
The "Tsumugi ito" thread, which is spun by hand from raw silk that has been boiled and softened, is soft and warm, containing a lot of air.
It is said that "it takes three generations to develop its flavor," and it is so durable that it becomes more flavorful with each wear. Please enjoy the supreme beauty created by traditional techniques.
