This is an antique French Limoges porcelain plate, manufactured by J.P. (Jean Pouyat), with a later added hand-painted Art Decostyle decoration. The plate was made by Limoges, then later painted by Welden and dated 1901. This plate is marked on the back with both JP France and Welden 1901. This is a beautiful example of early studio-decorated Limoges porcelain.
This is an antique, and I think in good condition, with the normal wear expected of a 100+ year old plate.
