Authentic mid-20th-century Italian nativity figure featuring the removable Baby Jesus and original hand-painted cradle. Marked ITALY on the underside, confirming classic Italian cast production from the 1940s–1960s. The figure displays the traditional vent/casting opening on the underside, a characteristic feature of genuine Italian religious plaster figures.

Both pieces retain their original paint, with surface wear and patina appropriate to age. The halo-style straw bedding and wooden manger design show the expressive sculpting and textured detail found only in Italian workshop nativity sets of this period. Baby Jesus lifts out easily and sits correctly in the cradle as intended.
