This beautiful pair of vintage Japanese tea cups features a traditional crackle-glaze raku finish, pierced/reticulated lower bodies, and elegant hand-painted gold accents. Each cup is approximately 6 inches tall, with a striking two-tone design—soft sage-green crackle glaze on top and a sculptural, textured lower half with cutout openings edged in gold.
These pieces still retain their original Fred Roberts Company (San Francisco) – Made in Japan foil labels, dating them to around the 1960s–1970s, when the company imported high-quality handcrafted Japanese ceramics.
Perfect for display, matcha, ikebana, or as unique studio-art style vessels.
