This is the rare *New* Nintendo 3DS in Black that was released years ago. This console version, unlike the XL, has the ability to change out the cover plates for a custom look! This [Region JPN] edition comes with original Animal Crossing cover plates. Plates show very little signs of wear (if any) so overall in great shape!
Again, this console is region-locked to Japan ONLY, so it cannot play U.S. games without first modding. Great candidate for installing CFW then can play everything!

Inside is in good overall condition as well. Hinges are still tight, D-pad, joysticks and all buttons are great and still very stiff. Stylus included. Screens do have some light wear/minor scratching but is barely noticeable once on and playing.
