You're bidding on an Original 1958 JERRY LEWIS Hand Signed "The Sad Sack" 22"x28" "B" Movie Poster. It was purchased in 1989 at a personal appearance high roller event in Atlantic City. It is personalized, "TO JIM - JERRY LEWIS - 7/89". The poster is a "B" variant horizontal 1958 original with all of the proper markings. I had the poster checked against known exemplars and it is guaranteed to pass any 3rd party authentication process such as PSA/DNA or JSA. It will shipped in its original folded state as originally shipped to the movie theater.

The Sad Sack is a 1957 Paramount Pictures comedy film based on the Harvey Comics character of the same name, created by George Baker. The film stars Jerry Lewis and Peter Lorre.  Private Meredith Bixby (Lewis) simply cannot fall in line with army procedure, even though he has had 17 months of training. A psychologist (Phyllis Kirk), is assigned to turn him into a good soldier, so she enlists two fellow servicemen to help Bixby.
