Rare Vintage 1940s Western Germany Hock Glasses People Stems Roemer Romer Grape Leaves
Beautiful Craftsmanship!
Available is this very rare set of hock wine goblets, each with a different figural stem. One is a chimney sweep, Lady, Man, Boy, and Girl. The bowls are beautifully decorated with gold and etched grapes and leaves. On the base of one of them is a sticker which says "Made in Western Germany."
A lovely old set from the 1940s!
Measurements: 5-3/4” High x 2-3/8” wide at rim
Condition: All but one is in excellent undamaged condition. The lady has a small chip on the brim of her hat. The glass is all perfect. The gold is still intact and not worn. The painting on the china stems is very good with no scrapes or damage. See photos as part of description.
