Fenton 1999 Connoisseur Collection- Periwinkle on Blue Burmese Fairy Light. This gorgeous 3-piece fairy light was Fenton's 1999 Showcase Dealer Fall Exclusive. It was also part of Fenton's 1999 Connoisseur Collection. This soft, highly collectible color was first made in the 1800's by the Mt. Washington Glass Company. Called Mt. Washington Peachblow at that time, this historic formula requires pure gold to create its lovely rose shading. To enhance the 3-piece fairy light, Martha Reynolds designed a twining Periwinkle pattern accented with white enamel beads and 22k gold in the leaves and the stripe around the base. This piece is number 1887 out of the limited edition of 1950 pieces produced. It is inscribed with the signatures of Frank M. Fenton and Bill Fenton. It is signed by the artist, N. Kelley. Measures 7.25” tall. No chips or cracks.
