The Tascam DR-701D 6-Track Audio Recorder is perfect for single shooter video production. The DR-701D includes a timecode generator, and can also be jammed from a SMPTE generator, camera, or smart slate, and HDMI in/out provides REC trigger functionality.
The 4 input channels can be mixed and recorded to a stereo track, while maintaining separate WAV files, for a total of 6 channels of recording. Multiple units can be linked together to recorder even more tracks.
The rigid, yet lightweight chassis is made of magnesium alloy, and features tripod sockets on the top and bottom to seamlessly integrate into a camera rig.Designed to meet the needs of professional filmmakers, television producers, advertisers, and documentarians, the DR-701D packs high quality multitrack recording into a package compact enough for any camera.
